“Stop running away from Buharis failure, do the needful to secure Nigeria” – Tambuwal tells Tinubu

Tambuwal Tinubu

Former Governor of Sokoto State and Senator representing Sokoto-South senatorial zone, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has cautioned President Bola Tinubu to stop using some unsolicited and negative remarks against erstwhile president Muhammadu Buharis tenure.

According to the Senator, “From day one, the All-Progressives Congress (APC), as a Party, has no plans for securing our country, rather than grabbing power to rule the country.

“The same Tinubu government that has failed woefully to secure Nigerians and execute meaningful development is lamenting and disassociating itself from Buharis administrative failure.

There is no reason for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to allow his aides or ministers to be castigating and attacking past APC government under Muhammadu Buhari, which he has tremendously benefitted from it.

President Tinubu should face the governing of Nigeria with serious-minded attention and not allow certain myopic tendencies in his administration to destroy his good plan on the securing of our nation and bringing cohesion and development to our country if at all he is ready.

He charged PDP supporters not to be discouraged about the happening in the country, but rather unite and ensure political understanding amongst themselves.

He said, Nothing can change our country like determination and commitment to a good cause as we are all known for; our party supporters should be united in bringing such to the party progress.

You have been in the vanguard of change and political unity, this should be your guiding principles of peace and political unity, with discipline and respect to everybody in the Party.

He commended the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Sokoto State leadership for their sacrifice and performance of ensuring unity and development of the party.

Speaking earlier, the Chairman of PDP Sokoto State, Bello Goronyo, appreciated the Party support and the political understanding given to his leadership by the Partys elders and youths in the State.

He also commended former governor Tambuwals efforts in uniting the Party in the State, alongside his financial contribution towards the successful running of the Party affairs in the State.

The stakeholders meeting of the Party had the attendance of all the partys leadership from 23 local government councils and elders.
